This session will examine issues facing Medicare's annual $60 billion in spending on post-acute care (PAC) services. Specifically, the session will explore trends and solutions facing home health, skilled nursing facilities, inpatient rehabilitation facilities and long-term care hospitals. Experts will touch on comprehensive payment reform (such as site neutral and risk-based payment models), quality issues (such as value-based purchasing) and the impact PAC services have on other providers (such as physicians and advanced practice professionals).
