Call for Reviewers

The call for reviewers is now closed.

The American Society of Health Economists is seeking ASHEcon members to join the Scientific Review Committee in the peer review of abstracts submitted for consideration for the 2020 ASHEcon Conference at the St. Louis Union Station Hotel in St. Louis, MO. Reviewers are essential to efficiently evaluate proposals and to ensure the quality session offerings to conference attendees. Review will take place from Monday, December 9, 2019 - Friday, March 6, 2020.

Qualifications

Abstract reviewers must be current ASHEcon members. If your membership has expired, you'll be promptly asked to renew your membership.

Time Commitment

Reviewers will evaluate the submissions based on a pre-determined set of criteria. The number of abstracts assigned to reviewers varies and is dependent on the total number of submissions and the number of reviewers.

Prior to signing up to be a reviewer, consider your time and your availability to review abstracts from Monday, December 9, 2019 - Friday, March 6, 2020.

Review Process

Each reviewer will be sent a link to review submissions for abstracts and sessions depending on which program area(s) they signed up for. Reviewers will evaluate the submissions based on a pre-determined set of criteria. PLEASE NOTE that if you sign up for multiple program areas of expertise, you will receive more applications to review than if you sign up for one! So use caution in only selecting the program area(s) for which you are most familiar.
